For those of you who are having trouble accessing www.m-people.co.uk the short-term solution is to visit http://www.bmg-backstage.co.uk, create an account and select the option to recieve M People news. You will then be able to get the news that would be available via m-people.co.uk but in a different colour frameset !!! I went to the concert on Dec 5 in Brighton and it was brilliant. Tears came into my eyes when pictures of M People through the years were projected on the stage screen during 'How can I love you more'. Great that this guestbook is open again !!!! I went all the way from germany just to see them live on 8th of dec in London. It was fantastic.!!!!!!!Specially liked the new songs Testify and Dreaming and the slow beginning of How can i love you more.The stage was very good decorated and Heathers outfit was just incredible. I never meant to like M People, but I finally "took that sip from the devil's cup" back in the summer of '94. I would go out drinking and dancing with friends and Movin' On Up was playing everywhere. 09/04/98. The Brussels show April 4 was absolutely sensational ! I was at only 4 m distance from the stage in the intimate AB and could count the stitches on Heather's purple dress and grey catsuit. There was an enthusiastic Saturday Night Fever atmosphere and she got the audience eating out of her hand. What a woman ! Once again the M's lived up to their reputation of party band. 28/03/98. It's good to see M People back in the UK Top 10 with 'Angel St', especially after the incomprehensible flop of 'Fantasy Island'. The next single for the summer should be 'Lonely' - let the world know they can produce other songs than dancey pop tunes ! (although 'Never mind love' 's also a favourite of mine). I am glad that M-People entered the Hitlist U.K. at nr. 8 with Angel St. I was a bit worried, because Fantasy Island only reached nr. 33! (I still don't know why; it's the best song on Fresco!) Here in Holland it looks like M-People are boycotted: They don't play their songs on any station and here they don't even enter the charts. That's why I am very happy and thankful that M-People will still come to Amsterdam for their concert (in Paradiso). The real dutch M-People fans will be there! Does anyone know what will be the next single? (Suggestion: "Believe It"!)

I just thought I would add, that coming from a woman's opinion, I think Heather is a very pretty woman, and I would certainly love to have a body like hers, I can tell she works out a lot, and the matter about her hair, who cares, she can have it how she likes! Well in my opinion, I reckon Last Night 10,000 should be released as a single, because it's a wicked song and it's an extremely powerful, overwhelming tune! I love the Angel St song , but I think maybe they should of released a different song before that, of some different material then the usual type of M-People tune. Anyway I really love the new Album, Fresco, I listen to it loads it's excellent, just like all the other top albums they've made!

In response to the 'Angel St.' query, i think that, yes, it is a good choice to be released on single, but not after Fantasy Island. Although Angel St. hasn't the club/dance element, its piano and sax parts sound all to similar to Fantasy Island, and the trained M People ear will know the difference, but many people may simply think that it is Fantasy Island. It's a good song, but wait a bit M People!!!

26/01/98. Hurray ! The M's are coming to Brussels on April 4 and I already got my ticket !!! If the show is as good as in London, then I'lm heading for another night in heaven (I'm SURE it will be !). Concerning the 'Angel Street' single , I'm a bit disappointed. Although it's a good song, it's such an OBVIOUS choice. Like they desperately want to have chart success. Hence I don't understand why 'Fantasy Island' has flopped in Belgium and only reached 33 in the UK. I'd rather see 'Never mind love' or 'Lonely' released as a single. The latter would be the perfect summer tune ! Maybe an idea for single no. 4 ?

02/12/97. The concert last Friday in Wembley was absolutely smashing ! The climax for me was 'One night in heaven', 'Sight for sore eyes', 'How can I love you more', 'Exited', 'Fantasy Island' and 'Just for you' when at the end, after a short silence, the song resumed and sort of exploded ! Heather was in great shape and she looked very sexy in her purple dress. Any plans yet for a tour on the continent ? There's a welcome mat at the centre of Brussels !

18/09/97. Although 'Just for you' is only officially released next Monday, I've had the most fantastic premiere you can ever imagine. Yesterday I heard the song for the first time in full when M People performed it LIVE in front of me !!! I was present at the taping of '10 om te zien', a well known TV music program in Belgium and I saw the group from only a good 20m distance ! Heather looked absolutely STUNNING !!! The program is broadcasted 24/09 on VTM, a Belgian commercial TV station. Hurray !!!
